The 4" Sea Turtle offers a wooden hammer giving the bell a mid-range tone. African Blood Wood is the name of the wood used in making the hammer. The Blood Wood is a very dense wood that holds up very well in outside conditions. Purchase includes item seen in picture.
The windcatchers are patinaed, not painted. Some parts of the patina will flake off during transit. When this happens, a small amount of clear coat lacquer can be applied to reseal the patina, or can be left go where it will naturally patina over time.
The setting of the audio clip is indoors. Natural ringing motion of the bell is from wind and the sounds may differ.
